Many of you will have noticed that the web site has been redesigned, and one of the improvements is to allow more than one of a particular item to be included. So where I have acquired another copy of something that I have sold, I can re-open an item for sale without making a new listing for it. That means it will not appear on the 'Newest' page. AM Royal Copenhagen heart, blue

Here is a great example of the collaboration which took place between ceramicists and silversmiths after the takeover of Anton Michelsen (see profile) by Royal Copenhagen Porcelain.

In these pendants, the ceramic heart rests in a heart-shaped silver dish with a built-up edge. There is a small gap between the ceramic and the silver, to emphasise the contrast.

The silver marks on the two pendants also demonstrate how the Anton Michelsen logo was gradually phased out (see below).The blue pendant was made later and no longer features the AM logo.

The blue heart pendant comes with a long silver chain produced in-house. This set costs £75.
