Many of you will have noticed that the web site has been redesigned, and one of the improvements is to allow more than one of a particular item to be included. So where I have acquired another copy of something that I have sold, I can re-open an item for sale without making a new listing for it. That means it will not appear on the 'Newest' page. Brdr.Bjerring round brooch

designed for Brødrene Bjerring

I am not sure what the stone is on this amazing brooch. It is semi-opaque, and I am guessing at carnelian rather than amber. The stone is set in Sterling silver in a large slightly irregular disc of crinkled and oxidised silver. The reverse is a seperate piece of hand-handhammered silver.

Purchased as new old stock from the Bjerring estate.

as new. There is a minor production fault on the stone - a small unpolished section is visible through a magnifying glass at the edge.
