Danehof Sterling amber ring

Here is a vintage but new amber ring, bought from the heirs to the estate of the Bjerring brothers, whose workshop closed in the mid-eighties. This ring bears the name of Danehof, but I think this mark, first registered in 1979, was closely linked to Brdr.Bjerring, as I have seen some pieces which have both marks. This is a large, stunning ring of ultra simple design, with a very large cabochon of amber set into a simple Sterling silver dish, and mounted on a plain silver band. It has never been worn and is being sold at less than the original 1980s price.
