Denmark modernist 'freeform' wooden earrings (screws)


Not everyone could afford the striking new designs of Henning Koppel for Georg Jensen in the 1950s, so these designs were copied both in silver and, as here, in wood.  These dainty wooden screw earrings are a good example of 1950s modernism, each enhanced with a white metal stud.

They could easily be converted for pierced ears. I can fix silver or gold fittings for you, free of charge.  Let me know.
