Many of you will have noticed that the web site has been redesigned, and one of the improvements is to allow more than one of a particular item to be included. So where I have acquired another copy of something that I have sold, I can re-open an item for sale without making a new listing for it. That means it will not appear on the 'Newest' page. NO SHIPPING IN JULY 2010

EF (?) Sterling silver & amber ring

designed for Einer Fehrn

This is an outstanding modernist Sterling silver ring, which I believe was made by Einer Fehrn, as I have seen a similar one with his initials. There is no maker's mark on this one, possibly because the stamp could not reach properly. (see below under marks).

The ring was purchased as new old stock, and has never been worn.

Excellent, no visible damage, shop new

On one side: 925 DENMAR, and on the other side: ERLIN. I believe that the stamp could not be inserted properly due to the narrow space, and thus the maker's mark has also been missed.

size

The head of the ring rises 0.6" (1.5cm) above the shank, and the amber cabochon is 0.8" (2cm) wide.
