J.Hull large figural cuff bangle
designed for Jacob Hull
Here is a stunning bangle by Jacob Hull (see designer profile) for the Danish company of Buch & Deichmann. The bangle bears no silver marks, and is thus silver-plated. A large dish is fixed to the top, into which molten silver has been poured and then pierced to create the figures of a human head. The eyes in their sockets, nose and mouth are clearly distinguishable.
condition
Excellent, new old stock. There is slight bubbling of the silver plate in a very small aea, probably a production fault.
marks
Stamped: B & D logo, J.Hull in rectangle, and Denmark
size
The bangle is 1.8" (4.6cm) at its widest at the front, tapering off at the rear, and leaving a 1.6" (4cm) gap.
