Lapponia neckpiece and armpiece

A truly outstanding and unique set by the foremost and innovative Finnish company, Lapponia.
The main section in both the neckpiece and the armband is a large, sculptured piece of almost solid silver. In the necklace, the single leather strap is set into the silver at either end, with ingeneous and simple leather closures, allowing 2 lengths. The silver of the armpiece is elongated at one end to form a hook, which fits into the hole of the leather strap slotted into the other end.
I have never seen this design before, and I doubt whether I shall see one like it again.
condition
Excellent. There is no damage to the silver or to the leather, which is still smooth and supple.
marks
As usual on pieces from Finland, there are numerous marks. Please see the photo. date mark for the neckpiece is H8 for 1985 and for the armband it is G8 for 1984. Otherwise the marks are identical.
size
At its longest, the inside of the neckpiece measures 15.75" (40cm). It adjusts down by 2cm. The silver piece is over 3" (8cm) long and more than 1cm thick.
The armband will fit a wrist up to 6.5" (16.5cm). Here the silver piece is 2.5" (6cm) long including the hook.
