Many of you will have noticed that the web site has been redesigned, and one of the improvements is to allow more than one of a particular item to be included. So where I have acquired another copy of something that I have sold, I can re-open an item for sale without making a new listing for it. That means it will not appear on the 'Newest' page. Michelsen Bullrush brooch

The attention to detail on this Anton Michelsen (see designer profile) Sterling silver brooch is extremely fine. The bullrush heads are oxidised, and the long swirling rushes have been treated with a light gold wash. The sculptural effect is stunning, particularly as this is a large brooch.

I do not know who designed this brooch, but it was possibly the Kindt-Larsens.

Excellent no nicks or scratches. Gently used and not overpolished. Lovely patina.
