Nye, cuff bangle + brooch / pin
designed for other designers
Vintage Sterling set by Stuart Nye, USA. Here is a rare opportunity to acquire a dogwood blossom set by that popular American silversmith, Stuart Nye, who founded his silversmith company in 1933 in Asheville, North Carolina. Self-taught, his designs were inspired by the wild flowers and plants of the mountains of North Carolina, to which he had moved from New York to have his tuberculosis treated. His first design was the dogwood blossom, and this is still made today, so I cannot tell whether these items are 10 or 70 years old.
