SHIPPING COST
The shipping charge will be ADDED to your invoice which I will send after you have received confirmation of your order, as this varies by destination, value and weight.
ELECTRONIC TRACKING IS COMPULSORY FOR SILVER JEWELLERY regardless of value, as silver is not covered by the Royal Mail standard compensation scheme. Insurance is also required for any shipment of other jewellery over $70/ £45 in value. This means that your purchase will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery within the UK costing approximately £5.75 and by Royal Mail International Signed For or Airsure, costing £6.75 to Europe and £7.50 to the rest of the world. For international shipments valued over £45/$70, there is an additional insurance surcharge of £2.50, i.e. £9.25 and £10 to Europe and the rest of the world. All these prices are for packages weighing under 100gm. There will be small supplements for heavier packages. If UK or European customers do not use Paypal, and agree to waive any compensation rights, they may request shipping at lower rates without insurance.Shipping of non-precious metals such as pewter, copper etc valued at under $70 / £45 will be by standard first class or airmail without insurance, at correspondingly lower rates. Finally any small flat items of silver of low value may be sent by ordinary mail as letter post (eg some small pendants or earrings).
PAYMENT
All purchases must be paid for within 7 days of invoice, which you will receive from me by email after you have submitted your order and which will be issued in UKP £, at the current rate of exchange. Contact me if any problems are anticipated. Payment options include Paypal worldwide, bank transfers within Europe, as well as personal cheques and postal orders within the United Kingdom.
RETURNS
The items of jewellery are clearly depicted (better than with the naked eye) and described. Additional photos can be sent on request. Nearly all the items are vintage and therefore will display signs of use. We are sure that you will be happy with your purchase, but in the event that you are not, refunds can only be given if you can provide evidence that the items are not as described or depicted, and any complaint must be communicated to us within 7 days of receipt. On reaching agreement, the item must be returned immediately, and a refund of the original payment will be made, less postage costs.
